Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup canned pure pumpkin (should be frozen in an ice cube tray)
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup water (or 1 cup ice cubes if pure pumpkin not frozen)
  • 1/4 ripe avocado
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 table ground flaxseed (optional)

Directions:

  1. Add frozen pure pumpkin and the rest of the ingredients into the blender. Puree until smooth and enjoy.

Cool Red & White Smoothie

  • 2 cups vanilla/coconut ice cream
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons crushed candy canes
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1-1 1/2 cups ice cubes

Directions:

  1. Add ice cream, coconut milk, crushed candy canes, strawberries, banana and ice cubes into a blender and puree until smooth.

Apple Pie Smoothie

  • 1/2 cup frozen apple juice concentrate
  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 cup ice

Directions:

  1. Add frozen apple juice, vanilla yogurt and pumpkin pie spice and ice to the Ninja blender and blender away.  Puree until smooth and enjoy.  This smoothie can be served warm as well.

  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 2/3 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 teaspoon honey

Direction:

  • Cut banana into small pieces and place into the bowl of a blender. Add the milk, yogurt, and honey if you would like. Blend on lowest speed until smooth, about 5 seconds. Gradually add the blueberries while continuing to blend on low. Once everything is mixed, increase speed and mix until desired consistency is reached.

  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons (tbl) white sugar
  • 6 ice cubes

Directions:

  • Blend the strawberries, milk, pineapple juice, vanilla yogurt, sugar and ice in a blender until smooth. You may need to stop the blender and scrape the sides before completely blended together.  Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

  • At least 1/2 cup orange juice
